This is the line of calligraphy, in Persian, that I have written the for the longest and with the most frequency.

This care features the shorter version of the verse from the Psalms.  The verse in Persian has a rhythm and internal rhyme that is combined with the meaning is especially compelling. There are many translations into English:

"The Lord is compassionate and merciful slow to anger and abounding in steadfast love."
